I wonder how big part of a watch based on the MKT2502 chip is made up of the chip it self and how big of a difference are there between them?
I basically wonder if the MKT chip contains the Bluetooth functionality or if that's an external chip (if it's an external chip, are there a set number of compliant chips or does it depend on a driver).
If watches have more or less identical chipsets, is there a generic firmware?
Is it possible to alter the functionality of an existing firmware?
Is there an open source firmware?
I really want to use my watch as a remote control for my phone.
This can be done today, but only if I connect my watch as a sound device (my watch have a mic and speaker).
But I really don't want to play music or make phone calls through my watch.
