I have followed the first MCS tutorial on turning on and off an on board LED through the MCS. But when I ran the (python) code, I got this message:
INFO: Root:Command Channel IP, port=401,401 Unauthorized. From there, the code throws an error saying that "401 Unauthorized" is an invalid literal to be converted into an integer, therefore there is no port to connect to.
So far, I've tried refreshing my MCS page, switching the prototype from private to public, and rerunning the code. I've also tried going to the web-page where the code pulls its data (https://api.mediatek.com/mcs/v2/devices/~DEVICEID~s/connections.csv), the website just says "401,401 Unauthorized". The MCS website also displayed an alert that read "401 Unauthorized".
What does 401,401 Unauthorized mean and how can I fix this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help!
EDIT: I've done some research and found that a authorization header is required. Where/how do I make one? I thought the authorization header was included in the section that you register your app into MCS, the place where you enter your deviceID, DeviceKey, and host URL.
