It's the first time I use MT7688 and openWRT. 2 weeks ago I found a module HLK7688A meets my requirement and I order one module. In my country I didn't found any one sell LinkIt module.
I designed a board, power up the module but I can not connect it to internet.
I plugged LAN cable to Eth0 port of the module. It automatically switch to bridge mode. I can use my smartphone connect to internet but I use SSH via UART0, I send command
root@OpenWrt:/# ping 18.104.22.168
PING 22.214.171.124 (126.96.36.199): 56 data bytes
ping: sendto: Network is unreachable
root@OpenWrt:/# opkg update
wget: bad address 'downloads.openwrt.org'
* opkg_download: Failed to download http://downloads.openwrt.org/barrier_breaker/14.07/ramips/mt7628/packages/base/Packages.gz, wget returned 1.
I can't solve this problems and I think if I use Mediatek openwrt, it can solve problems.
But I read this thread.
They said there are some different between LinkIt7688 hardware and HLK7688. And the bootloader and firmware need some customization. I found in my HLK module, the CS1 pin is pull down.
Is there any problems if I upgrade openWRT of my HLK module with Mediatek openwrt image via WebGUI?
I found this link. Could I use this uboot for my HLK module?
Thanks and Best regards!
